According to Campless the average price of a DS pair of Concord 11's is $370, the average price for a high quality fake is roughly $150, so I know no one wants to pay $200+ more and end up with a fake. The Jordan 11 Concord is by far one of the most replicated sneakers on the market due to it being so iconic within the sneaker community. For awhile it was easy to spot a fake pair of Jordan 11's such as the lack of carbon fiber, the 23 looking crazy, no 3rd spacing, toe box issues, thin laces. But not now. Now there is such high quality fakes that even the average "sneaker head" needs help getting a legit check. But with my guide you will be given the most easy to spot differences so you will not get scammed.
Part 1. A back view shows you a clear difference in the build and structure. The patent leather in the back goes up higher on the real pair. You can see the jumpman is closer to the patent leather on the fake pair. The craftsmanship of the back heel pad is not as clean on the fakes. The heel pad in general is skinnier on the fakes.
Part 2. A closer look and you can see what I mean about the craftsmanship of the heel pad. Notice on the real pair it is very round and smoothly curved. But on the fake it is more boxy.
Part 3. The box is smaller on the fakes.
Part 4. There is no yellowing around the traction pods on the fakes.
Part 5. The carbon fiber on the real pair has a slight shine to it as if nail polish was applied. The fakes is very dull looking.
Part 6. A closer look shows how much closer the jumpman is to the patent leather on the fakes. Stitching quality on the fake jumpman is also more shaky and not nearly as clean.
Part 7. The fake pair has a blue production number stamp on the bottom.
Part 7. The information on the back of the insole on the fakes is different and also the font is different.
Part 8. On the under side of the shoe tree there is a size range that goes with the shoe. The shoes used for this comparison are a size 13, so notice the real pair has a size range of 12.5-14, which makes sense. But the fakes have a 10.5-12, which does not for a size 13 shoe. This is a common error and easy tell tale sign. Fakes usually do not use the appropriate size shoe trees. For example if your shoes are a size 9 and the shoe tree says 10.5-12 then you know you need to inspect that shoe.
